Burapha University Partners with Sicher for 6-Month APSM Program

Organizing a Comprehensive 6-Month Advanced Process Safety Management Training Program in Life Long Learning Format to Enhance Industrial Safety Knowledge and Standards Across More Than 40 Private Organizations

The Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University, in collaboration with Sicher Co., Ltd., under the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, has organized a 6-month training program in Advanced Process Safety Management in the form of Life Long Learning (LLL) for more than 40 private organizations, to enhance knowledge and standards in process safety for the Thai industrial sector.

Currently, the training has progressed to Week 3, where participants are learning about the critical topic of Dust Explosion Prevention according to international standards IEC 60079-10-2 and NFPA 68, which are essential guidelines for preventing and reducing risks from dust explosions in manufacturing processes, one of the most critical safety issues for industrial plants.

This project has received cooperation and commitment from participants who are dedicated to continuous knowledge and skill development, as well as expert instructors from various fields who have shared their knowledge, experience, and best practices aligned with international standards, to collectively enhance the country's safety standards in a concrete manner.

This training represents another important step in developing safety personnel in the industrial sector and reflects the commitment of all sectors in creating a safe, sustainable production system that aligns with future industrial development.
