Enhancing Knowledge in Advanced Process Safety Management with an Easy-to-Use E-Learning Platform for Over 50 Students from Leading Thai Companies, Equipped with Modern AI Tools
As a leading university in Eastern Thailand, Burapha University is well known across various disciplines, including engineering, science, and many others. The university is also home to the EEC Automation Park, an industrial automation training hub that serves factories in the Eastern Economic Corridor, with more than 47,000 students.
In March 2025, Burapha University adopted the Schols e-learning platform for teaching the Advanced Process Safety Management course, with more than 50 participants from leading companies in Thailand. Learners found the Schols platform easy to use and simple to understand compared to other platforms they had previously used.
Ms. Lallana, a student in the course, stated:
"Schols is easy to access for users, including SME operators."
Meanwhile, another student, Mr. Saksiri, commented:
"The strength of Schols lies in its user-friendliness, simple structure, and the ability to use it without the need to read a manual."
When graduates apply the knowledge in their workplaces, they are better prepared with modern occupational health and safety tools. Schols provides a comprehensive suite of tools, including AI-based hazard analysis, a Permit-to-Work system, and other safety tools.
One notable example is the Auditing Tool module, which enables paperless factory inspections with AI-supported data summarization and analysis, improving efficiency, reducing paperwork, and allowing staff to focus on more critical tasks.
Burapha University's decision to adopt the Schols platform reflects its commitment to developing the next generation of safety professionals and clearly demonstrates that industrial plants and SME operators can leverage modern AI-driven systems to enhance compliance, improve safety, and increase operational efficiency in a tangible way.
